Elections are here...
Well, on Thursday Zambians will go to the polls to elect a new (or old) president. There are rallies and talks of politics going on everywhere. I'm not permitted to say much more, but watch out online and on the TV for news of what happens...

HOT season AGAIN
Okay, it shouldn't be a suprise that it gets so hot here. It is Africa, right? Anyway, the update is that it is beginning to be blistering during the day and still cool at night. At this time next month I'll be soaking my bedsheets in water before going to bed...

Malaria
Before I say anything more, here's a photo of me taken less than 24 hours ago...
So I'm fine. But yes, I did have malaria. Don't get it, that's my advice. I still have it and have to sleep a lot, but I guess it is all part of living here! I started to feel it coming on last Thursday and it put me out for the rest of the weekend. On the way to take my malaria test I actually shit my own pants! Yikes! It was in public too... gross. Anyway, hope everyone is ok. 6 months and counting...
