Erica and Nteme
So there are a lot of people in Peace Corps that I love and respect and visit as often as I can. Of course there’s my good friend Mat that I went on vacation with to Lesotho, South Africa, and Botswana. Look in the January backlog and you’ll find some snaps of him. I feel like I have neglected my friend Erica! She is one of my bestest buds and I visit her to do work in her village (and do crossword puzzles). Here was are in the back of our friend Maybin’s car (Maybin lives near her, thus the only reason I am his friend is because of Erica):
I’d just like everyone who reads this silly thing that I have some true good friends here that I know I will keep forever. Erica is one of them and I respect her very much. She is wicked good at knitting and has already made me a hat, purse, and sweater! And if y’all every send a package to me, it’d be nice if you included some yarn for her!
