Sorry...
I’ve been back now for a bit… sorry it has been so long since I blogged anything! Since I left Minnesota I celebrated my birthday with some good friends in Lusaka. We went out for Indian food and neglected to mention it was a special day, so I got to blow out a lighter! Anyway, I’m starting to subtract years instead of add them now and I want this year to have been the last year anyone really mentions it!
Choma is great. Last night was a cold one and I’m thinking of buying a charcoal brazier to heat one of the rooms in my house! It will also come in useful when the electricity goes out or if I want to grill some fish or something.
I can’t believe that I only have 10 months left in my contract here… time flies when you’re having fun in the African sun! I’m still not sure what the plans are for any time after that, but hey, I’m getting younger every day, so it is all-good! I hope that you all are well and fine. Again, don’t forget to write, real letters are one of my real joys!
